“The Experimental Philosophy Blog” is a hub for everyone who wants to know what’s happening in the X-Phi world.
Initially, I was tempted to call it the “New New Experimental Philosophy Blog” because I view the blog as a kind of third iteration: First, there was a blog by the Experimental Philosophy Society, coordinated by Thomas Nadelhoffer. When it went offline in 2017, the Australasian X-Phi Group stepped in, creating the “New Experimental Philosophy Blog,” coordinated by Justin Sytsma, Joe Ulatowski, and Dan Weijers. Sadly, it went offline at the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024. Luckily, all good things come in threes. So here we are.
Many parts of this blog, from the visual appearance to the comment policy and the pointers to labs and further resources, come from the “New Experimental Philosophy Blog.” Thomas, Justin, Joe, and Dan have rendered invaluable service to the community. Hopefully, this blog will succeed in continuing this work.
